Pasta recipe

Pasta is my one of the favorite food. whenever, I feel like to eat something cheesy and tasty, I prefer to make pasta. Pasta is easy to make, we don't have to do lots of work to make pasta. Pasta taste really yummy and if we put cheese on it, it taste more and more yummy. whenever, I make pasta, I put lots of cheese on top of it and after it's ready to eat, me and my brother fight to eat cheese parts because we do not like inside part, we only like top part, which have cheese. My mom got angry on us sometimes because of they get all inside pasta; which do not have much cheese and my mom love cheese pasta too.
.

This pasta I made it  yesterday, perhaps it does not looks good, it taste really good. My mom was not at home and I made my self and I am not good cook so it seem so weird.



Here, you can see I did not burnt cheese well. some cheese did not burnt well because me and my brother do not like that much burn cheese, we love to eat half burn cheese.


If you want to make pasta my way, here is the recipe:

Ingredients:
- onion
- Pasta sauce
- Pasta
- cheese
- salt

method:
- take tap water and put some salt inside
- and also put pasta inside
- another side peel and cut onion
- take one container
- put onion inside
- when onion get pinkish, put pasta sauce inside
- when lots of bubbles appears in pasta sauce its done
- other side when pasta boiled properly
- take out water from inside
- take one pan and put pasta and pasta sauce things into
- put cheese on top of it
- put it inside oven
- after 10 min it will prepare and ready to eat

Indian Yellow Rice Recipe

I ate Yellow rice today and that's my one of the favorite Indian food. when I don't know what to cook in dinner I usually make this rice and eat it. Even when my mom is tired and tell me to cook something and on that time I have lots of other work to do, I usually prefer to cook this Indian Rice. It's easy to make and taste delicious too. It taste spicy and people who love spicy food try this rice once.
 



Here is the recipe of my yellow Indian rice: (3 Serving )

Ingredients:
- Rice (2 cups)
- Red chilli powder(Half spoon )
- Oil (1 spoon)
- Turmeric Powder (quarter spoon)
- Green Chilli (3)
- Salt (1 spoon)
- Garlic (1)
- Onion (1)

Method
- Clean Rice with water
- Put 1and 1/2 glass of water, 1 spoon salt and 2 cups rice into rice cooker.
- when rice perfectly cooked take that rice into 1 container and put it into slow temperature on gas 
- put 1 table spoon oil., 3 green chillies, 1 onion, and 1 garlic into rice
- mix it properly
- after that put half spoon red chilli powder and quarter spoon of turmeric powder into rice
- mix everything properly
- After that you can serve rice

Green Chili Pickle

Today, I ate delicious pickle at home called chili pickle. It's an Indian food. Our background is an Indian and my family member love spicy food. I don't like green chili type of too much spicy foods, but today my mom bought this pickle and they're eating lots of chilly. So I told them, "Guys, don't you feeling too spicy" So my mom told me to try this pickle and said it's not that spicy. So, after trying this pickle, I really loved it. It test little spicy and sour.


It seems weird, but it taste really really good. After eating this pickle, I forgot to eat my real meal. We completed half a jar of pickle in one day. My mom was like, "Why now you eating this thing? Don't you feeling spicy? " And I'm like, "Mom, spicy nah... try it, its a best ;)" Seriously, everyone on earth should try this pickle once a time. You can eat this pickle with any type of heavy food, it taste different and tasty. Only one thing you need to take care, do not eat this too much neither you are going to have diaria problem (LOL). Usually, we can buy this pickle from Indian glossary stores. My mom also bought it from there. If you want to make this pickle at home , here is the recipe for it (scroll down): 

Ingredients: 
  • 20 green Serrano chili peppers
  • 3 tablespoons coriander
  • 1-1/2 tablespoon fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/8 teaspoon asafetida
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon mango powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons oil, mustard oil preferred
  Method

  1. Wash and dry the chilies and cut a vertical slit, lengthwise in each one.
  2. Combine coriander, fennel and fenugreek seeds and grind coarsely.
  3. Add salt, mango powder and turmeric to the ground spices; mix well.
  4. Heat oil till it is quite hot, and then pour over the dry ingredient mixture.  Mix well.
  5. Add vinegar and mix well, again.
  6. Stuff green peppers with the spice mix and place in a glass jar.  Place jar for 2 days at room temperature or for 1 day in direct sunlight.
  7. Chili Pickle can be refrigerated up to a month.

I will grow bugs ...

Today, I read an article called " Bugs touted as emergency food source" from  The New York Times. It was  written and published long time ago by Chiang Mai, thailand. My Food and Nutrition teacher gave us this article to write a review about it. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/25/world/europe/25iht-insect.1.10352551.html.
I found this article very interesting. So, after reading title, you definitely know, this article is about bugs; which we can use it as emergency food sources. Bugs are consider as emergency food source because "they have high protein and minerals and could be an important food source during droughts and other emergiencies according to the scientists".

 
After reading this article, I want to make a pet to bugs so if I have emergency I could use that as my food source. Although, I am vegetarian (sometimes eat eggs) , I would prefer to do so because In emergency people have to eat anything to live. During that time, I will not see, I am vegetarian or note. That time I must have to eat non-vegetarian foods to live in this world. It can help others too. I can send this bugs to other countries who have lake of foods in emergency. We can mix them with our regular food and can eat it. In some countries, they do not have enough food to eat so if they grow bugs in their country; they can have more food to feed people. In future, there will be a day when people use bugs to make variety foods.Bugs have lots of proteins therefore they are very important food source.
